Pink pepper alone opens Al Majed Oud Ice. It is a bright, lightly spicy note, a little rosy itself, and with the brief giving nothing else for the top it stays crisp and airy. Rose follows as the only heart note, simple and classic, picking up the peppery sparkle and softening it into a petal-like middle.
Musk and vanilla form the base. Musk is soft and clean, vanilla smooth and mildly sweet, and together they leave a gentle, creamy finish. With only four notes in total, Ice reads as a sparse and clear composition: a spicy start, a rose centre and a soft musky-vanilla ending.
